  • Design Log

--Keep track of designs under consideration, updating the status of each as needed.  Show designs as figures and annotate with information about how the design was developed, how it has been evaluated, what you have determined, and what you are doing with the design as a result of your analysis.  Do not delete designs that have been eliminated; this should be a complete record of all ideas that the team considered.

I don't think you should have called yourselves "Team Failure." That seems to be overstating things and characterizes your project solely in terms of your mistake.

Seems like the wiki got off to a good start but was abandoned early on. Perhaps if you had used this as a place for posting your thoughts on the design process, someone would have raised the issue of whether your original design was sound. You might have caught your mistake in time. I say this based on another wiki where someone posted information on a mistake he discovered (the title of the post is "A Close Call").
